Brian McFadden joins Australia's Got Talent 20/2/2010
Brian McFadden will join Kyle Sandilands and Dannii Minogue as the new third judge on the next season of Australia's Got Talent.
A pregnant Minogue will now be joined by the two new judges, who are replacing Tom Burlinson and Red Symons, who is now free to return to Hey Hey it's Saturday for Red Faces.
In its fourth season of production, Channel Seven's talent show is taking on an all new direction, with the addition of Sandilands and McFadden for some serious entertainment-value.
Buoyed by the discovery of Susan Boyle from Britain's Got Talent already the show is seeing a broad pool of singers, dancers, magicians, comedians and performing troupes fronting at early auditions. The show has no boundaries on age or diversity of acts.
McFadden comes to the show following a guest stint on Australian Idol, where partner Delta Goodrem also appeared. His friendship with Sandilands will no doubt lead to some on-screen chemistry.
"I am beyond excited to be joining Channel 7 and Australia's Got Talent -- I have always been a massive fan of the show and am looking forward to sitting alongside my respected friends and peers Dannii and Kyle," he said.
McFadden's biggest role on Australian TV has been the two series of FOX8 reality series Football Superstar which is returning mid-2010, but the hosts are yet to be confirmed.
With Sandilands and McFadden both on board for Australia's Got Talent, it could be up to Dannii Minogue to become the show's nice judge.
No doubt Seven's show, again hosted by Grant Denyer, is ready to take its place when the show returns soon.
