The McClymonts to release new album on January 15 8/12/2009
The McClymonts girls are set to release their brand new album, Wrapped Up Good, on January 15 2010.
Recorded in Nashville, Wrapped Up Good has employed the talents of Taylor Swift’s acclaimed producer, Nathan Chapman, and the producer of their successful debut album release Chaos and Bright Lights, Adam Anders. The forthcoming album release coincides with their upcoming show at the Tamworth Leagues Club on January 16th and 22nd.
Of the new album, band member Mollie says: “We really admired both producers, who are good friends with one another, and they’ve brought an amazing breadth of talent to the album."
“We wanted to make a positive, warm, spontaneous album." says band member Samantha. "We’re all in a really good place at the moment - both in our personal lives and professionally - and the album really reflects that. Even the songs that aren’t about happy things have a sense of being in control of your life, of moving in a good direction.”
Travelling to Nashville earlier this year, the girls have collaborated with some of the best songwriters in country music, including Trey Bruce, Erin Sherlock, and Tommy-Lee James.
Winning a string of Golden Guitars and spawning four #1 singles, The McClymonts’ debut album, Chaos and Bright Lights was also a finalist for the coveted Album of the Year in Tamworth.
Their new album, Wrapped Up Good will be released on January 15 2010.
