O ya x I’m just dropping a line, in search of some likeminded others who would be keen, committed, collaborate and produce some major events among the music and entertainment industry in OZ… (One of my events gained a position in the Smirnoff’s Promoters Grant short-list. Refer to my profile page for exp, history, skills etc www.myworldtour.com.au/4sound) I’ve been involved in ‘various music scenes’ for years, resulting to collections of relevant info, knowledge, market research and identification of new market spaces and there is room for growth in the industry! We are in an important time in our music industry, considering the rapid technology changes, music and genre exposure through airplay, festival line-ups etc, social networking, communication, revenue outlets, support etc! Within these accesses and settings, new enhancements can be formed…. Too cut a long story short, I’m looking for a selected few serious, people to join me in a group and conduct some major plans via events and the entertainment industry. The team is basically like a dedicated band, everyone has similar goals and objectives to achieve the same results and work equally as hard to get there quickly. Though no-one said things would be easy! I’m based in G.C QLD but have concepts to go nationally and internationality with some events. (Therefore I’m also looking for contacts with similar goals or services in alternate states.) yeah i'd really like to do tv presenting, like i said i've done some community tv stuff but not really anything professional which i need to. but i figure if i can get into the television industry doing anything, that's a start and i'm pretty sure that's how they find people. i'm open to anything within the media industry at this point, not too fussed! ha what do you want to do? it sounds like you've had experience with a bit of everything, that's good. tell me more about this show, it sounds cool. any advice for a struggling journo? haha x

hey that sounds really cool, broadcast journalism is what i'm into, but at my uni we just sort or studied everything, print, radio and tv, you couldn't really specialse much. I did it in Brisbane, at QUT - i loved it, had heaps of fun but i know that i need to move to get more job opportunities etc. I love perth though, my friends and i went there middle of this year, it was great, we were staying right near the river, west perth i think, near the wheel. my friends' dad is loaded so he took us to an afl game corporate box and everything. i had so much fun, freo's really cool too! is that where you grew up and studied? but that's great you host a local tv show, that'll look really good for this. i've done a bit of stuff with community tv, it's such a good learning base. xx

hey that doco does sound good - i'll have to watch it, and hey don't worry, you're not babbling, and if you are, it's all good - i do it all the time! ha yeah i study, well did study, i just graduated from journalism, so i'm looking around for a job now. which is a bit intimidating because i don't totally know my direction, i'm thinking sydney or melbourne though - where are you? what do you do at the moment? (apart from alot of cool music stuff!) :)

Oh cool. Good old Uni. Someone has to keep them all in line. Now, is there a link to your stuff or bands stuff? Or stuff stuff haha. It is exciting, I just like having a theme to my creative pursuits. I think I will keep on keepin on no matter what the outcome. ViVA La Music!

I dont have a journalism degree or have ever studied it. I left high school straight into radio and then from there into community tv and then onto my own stuff on youtube :D Im glad you like the blogs :) Best thing we can do until the final 6 are picked is to keep entertaining each other with blogs hahahaha Ben

the story behind my pic was that i was in germany for an exchange for uni, with a bunch of aussies, so we walking around ampitheatre ruins.. thinking that that's where they had the lions and gladiators, so i was singing 'lions and tigers and bears.. oh no' like from wizard of oz. then some random german guy came up, asked if we'd like him to be a 'lion', then me and my mate did some logie award acting scared= profile pic! later found out ampitheatre was where only plays were held, a little disappointed no gladiators. glad it got a laugh, usually i get more of a what the..?!

I decided. It's up here!
Now we must get to work on our collaborated masterpiece!

haha sounds like a pretty good weekend. I wish I could say I've done the same, but I've been boring this weekend passed. Gah, all I did was hang out at home listening to music, surfing the web and playing guitar and work. A pretty boring weekend. Though I plan on going into town this coming weekend to make up for it haha.
