Killers at V Fest 09
The act we'd been waiting to see all day and all night. The Killers, with a powerful array of songs and more stage props than you could poke a stick at, they were ready to go. With reminders of albums past (Hot Fuss and Sam's Town) and Day & Age in the form of props and a pyrotechnics show to match they were fantastic! Brandon Flowers, the eccentric front man, was wild with dance moves and dedication to the songs without missing a beat. Ronnie Vannucci Jr. broke a drum stick and continued to play as if he was only meant to be playing with one hitting each note. Overall they nailed it, 10/10, they got the crowd moving and singing along, stage presence was excellent and they were real, they weren't arrogant or anything.
