So who am I? Some of you, 'know' me and some don't but! With conversations with my super indie friend, I have come to the sad realisation that I am infact a hipster! It's a pretty intense realisation, and although I don't really like the idea of labels, I thought of myself as indieish. But it's a lie. An article once told me that a hipster is a wanna be indie person, so far so good, tight jeans; tick, and so many more, but not all of them.
Over the last few hours I have to come to accept the 'new' me, I am proud to be what I have become. I will not lash out or react negatively to the situation, it's not worth it. But what I will do is embrace it with open arms.
And dammit I am going to be the best damn hipster that has ever lived! I have defined as the following:
Hipsters can be athletes too, right? Apparently. This sporty specimen is training in his tightest jeans and t-shirt uniform for some future touch football tournament. But seriously, dude. If you’re taking it seriously, why bother?
