I just got back from watching Michael Jackson's This Is It - and it was phe-no-menal.
I'm currently on a high, which is usually associated with coming back home after an awesome gig. And the stuff that they put together? Was just from rehearsals. Even then, it just blew me away.
The effort and hard work everyone put in, in order to create a phenomenal experience for the audience. From the primary back-up dancers, the back-up vocals, the band, the lighting crew, the production manager and the costume designer. Its an ensemble of these people that truly makes a performance memorable.
I can imagine being in the moshpit. Being crammed against and standing flushed against strangers, who I throughout the concert, will quickly become acquainted with.
Bopping my head to the beats.
Grooving to the beat.
What I would give to see him, if he was still with us today.
R.I.P Michael Jackson. You'll always be in our hearts.
